Born on January 3, 1981 in Zagatala, Dr. Şumarə Qaracayeva graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University's Faculty of General Medicine (2002–2008) and subsequently completed her residency specialization as a Medical Ophthalmologist. While her foundational training is rooted in clinical ophthalmology, her career trajectory evolved into the broader fields of functional medicine, nutritiology, and obesity management — driven by a deep belief that systemic root-cause analysis is the key to lasting health transformation.
As a lead trainer at the ANDOP Academy, Dr. Qaracayeva has developed and delivered specialized courses in Nutritiology & Dietetics Fundamentals, Vegetarianism & Non-Traditional Nutrition Methods, Detoxification & Proper Body Cleansing, and Gut Microbiota. She also spearheads children's health projects including "Choosing Healthy Food for a Healthy Future" and "Introduction to the Human Body and Its Structure," reflecting her commitment to preventive health education from an early age.
In 2020, she became the official Metabolic Balance® representative in Azerbaijan — a prestigious European metabolic reset program designed to balance hormones and reverse insulin resistance through highly individualized nutrition protocols.
