Biography & Philosophy
Dr. Gülsüm Hüseynova brings a unique blend of pediatric medicine, clinical dietetics, and functional medicine to her practice. After graduating from the Pediatrics Faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University and spending five formative years as a pediatrician at the Abulfaz Garayev Children's Hospital, she developed a deep understanding of how foundational nutrition shapes long-term health outcomes from the earliest stages of life.
Since 2019, Dr. Hüseynova has served as a trainer and obesity management specialist at ANDOP Clinic. Her approach goes far beyond conventional calorie counting — she integrates functional medicine protocols, comprehensive metabolic assessments, and individualized nutritional strategies to tackle the root causes of weight-related and chronic conditions.
She is particularly passionate about pediatric nutrition, autism-spectrum dietary interventions, and evidence-based detoxification programs. As the author of ANDOP's Pediatric Nutritiology, Autism, and Detox training modules, Dr. Hüseynova actively shapes the next generation of clinical nutrition practitioners in the region.
